How To Use This App:

  1. (OPTIONAL) Choose your favorite colors by clicking on the "theme" button. Choose from pre-existing themes or choose your own colors.

  2. Breathe along with the app normally. Do not take abormally large breaths. Simply breathe as you would normally. The idea is to slow down your breathing and to avoid hyperventilating. Many find it helpful to breathe in through the nose, and out through the mouth.

  3. You may find it helpful to set a goal for yourself in terms of how long you spend in the app practicing you breathing. You can start a timer by clicking "Start Timer" underneath the theme button. Perhaps you could start with 5 minutes in the app, then see how you feel. Repeat as necessary.

  4. If you find that you are unable to calm down and are experiencing a crisis, text the Crisis Text Line.
